Challenge
Daikin India as a name needs no introduction for the consumer durables market. We were faced with the challenge to design the Daikin web identity in terms of the website. The deliverables consisted of a dynamic products catalogue where web admin could update information through a secure login.
Implementation
With a clear approach towards the consumer durables market, the Daikin India website was designed with an eye towards the consumer market in India. The product catalogue was provided a CMS edge wherein through an extremely easy interface the admin will be able to update the product catalogue real time. The website supports all international standardization & norms and is extremely user friendly in its appeal. The site also had India's first Online Air Conditioning Solutions which offered web-based consulting to architects and retail buyers. Work is now being conducted to integrate the nationwide dealer network of Daikin on the Net platform. This huge application aims to bring systematization and standardization into the information flow and communication within the organization and with its Dealer Partners. This system based on the ERP model will later be connected to the SAP software running in the manufacturing units of Daikin, converting the entire business process into a seamless structure.

As powerful a name Daikin is in the market, matching is its web identity. With a two way promotion, offline & online, Daikin looks at a very healthy visibility in the market.
